WestStar Mortgage’s current policy is to hire experienced loan officers with a minimum of 3 years in the mortgage industry and a proven track record of quality loan originations during that period. Occasionally we will hire someone new to the business that demonstrates an enthusiasm to learn, a motivation to succeed and has a previous financial background.

State Accredited Pre-Licensing & Continuing Education Courses
Through our affiliation with Training Pro, the national leader in mortgage education, we offer our loan officers’ access to state accredited courses for pre-licensing, continuing education, and courses that will meet the requirements for the Secure and Fair Enforcement (S.A.F.E.) for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.
