Walter F. Jones

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Jones is the founding Chairman of the Board and CEO of WestStar, starting the firm in 2000. He is the firm’s majority shareholder. Walt is responsible for all aspects of Corporate Business Development, Strategy and Finance.

Kathleen Murphy-Zimpel

President

Ms. Zimpel was a founder of WestStar and is the President. She is a shareholder of the firm,and her role presently includes oversight of the day to day operations of all internal departments as well as all financial and strategic initiatives.

Roger W. Jones

Executive Vice President

Mr. Jones has held several senior posts for WestStar since joining the firm as it was organizing in 2000. Currently, he leads the company in several key strategic growth initiatives related to our MBS activities and servicing platform as well as investor relations.

Florangel Pernia

Chief Financial Officer

She supervises the performance of the entire accounting team, financial performance of the entire company, and financial aspects of all the divisions and branches. Florangel has control of the annual operating budget and assists in strategic decision implementation with the Chief Executive Officer.

Phil Buscemi

Chief Operations Officer and Senior Vice President

Mr. Buscemi’s experience and leadership dedicates her to oversee all aspects of the mortgage operations of the entire company. He primarily impacts and manages the closing, insuring, post closing, and warehouse funding departments. He also assists in the operations of the underwriting departments. Phil works with all investors and government agency request for compliance.

Jon Wlasiuk

Director of Information Technology

Mr. Wlasiuk serves as technology and facilities manager reporting to the C.E.O. Jon oversees all IT functions including administration of network users including on site employees and all remote branch locations.

Tasha Faison-Hill

Director of Human Resources

Mrs. Faison-Hill is a dedicated and focused Human Resources Director. Tasha assists the management team in implementing new processes through the HR department as well as processes all new hires, performs all back ground checks, retains employee records, maintains employee time off system, time and labor management, and prepares all payroll records for all salaried and commission employees.

Robert S. Bryce

Vice President and Director of Branch Development

Mr. Bryce has grown with WestStar Mortgage, Inc., since the corporation was established in 2000. He continues to serve the vital role of mentor and educator to all Mortgage Loan Originators. Robert’s focus has been to train all existing and new loan officers on our Encompass (Bankers Edition) Loan Origination Software as well as WestStar’s product guidelines and procedures to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
